Early Orthodontics

In an article called Early Orthodontics May Mean Less Treatment Later you can read about all of the benefits of early orthodontic treatment.  It is common nowadays to see many young children with braces in early elementary school.  We often have parents asking if this is helpful or why patients should be treated this early.

Early treatment can eliminate many future problems with dental development and, oftentimes, reduces the burden of orthodontic care down the road.  It is always recommended to have your child evaluated by an orthodontist no later than the age of 7.

At Noblesville Orthodontics we offer complimentary consultations for your younger children who may need a simple evaluation.  We can evaluate whether it is useful to begin an early intervention or wait until a later comprehensive stage!  Read all about our approach on our website page titled Two-Phase Treatment.
